Gunshot Wound Victim Stumbles Into South LA Liquor Store, Dies

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com)  —  Authorities said a man who was suffering from a gunshot wound stumbled into a South Los Angeles liquor store before succumbing.

The unidentified victim -- believed to be 25-years-old -- was declared dead at the scene, officials said.

"A clerk at a liquor store heard a gunshot and saw the victim come into the liquor store," said Officer Mike Lopez of the LAPD's Media Relations Section.

Police were notified about 11:30 a.m. of the shooting near Bottoms Up in the area of Vermont Avenue and 64th Street, Lopez said.
