Gunshot Victim Crashes Car Into Church In Leimert Park

LEIMERT PARK (CBSLA) — A driver who was shot by an unknown gunman rammed his car into a church in Leimert Park Tuesday night.

The crashed happened at about 9:15 p.m. at Mision Cristiana Amor Esperanza Y Fe at 3971 S Western Avenue.

There were several people inside the church when the crash occurred, but no one was hurt.

The driver was taken to a hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Whoever shot the victim is still on the loose.
