Google Cameras Allow Animals At LA Zoo To Take Selfies

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Animals at the Los Angeles Zoo are now getting in on the selfie trend.

Google has set up high-tech cameras at the zoo to allow animals to take close-up photos of themselves.

The cameras are equipped with motion sensors and snap a picture automatically whenever an animal comes within a certain range of the lens.

So far, a sloth, tiger and a warthog are among those to take part in the photo sessions.

The project is inspired by the new Disney movie "Zootopia".
