Gloria Allred: Universal Studios Employee Aimed Sexist Slurs At Teens During Halloween Horror Nights

UNIVERSAL CITY (CBSLA.com) — Attorney Gloria Allred demanded action Wednesday regarding comments directed at two teenagers at Universal Studios.

CBS2's Amy Johnson spoke with the teenagers who said offensive slurs were made toward them by workers at the theme park.

"I want them to know that it is not OK to say that to girls," said teenager Kayla Beals. "This is why I am speaking out today."

Allred was joined by the mother of the 13-year-old girls outside her office, officials said.

According to the victims' mothers, their request for an apology and explanation of the incident was ignored by theme park officials.

The teens were singled out and called "sluts," "hookers" and "whores" by an employee at Universal Studios in Hollywood in September, cellphone video showed.

"It is just not acceptable to be so disrespectful to girls and to speak of them in that way," Allred said.

The incident took place at Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights, the families said.
