Local Residents To Consider Possible Sites For Pedestrian-Bike Bridge

GLENDALE (CBSLA.com) — Local residents next week are expected to consider possible sites for a pedestrian-bike bridge designed to connect Griffith Park to Glendale.

The city of Glendale will meet with local community members on Dec. 11 to discuss the Glendale Narrows Riverwalk expansion.

KNX 1070's Bob Brill reports residents at the meeting will have an opportunity to consider three prospective locations for the pedestrian-bike bridge.

The possible sites include: (1) east of the Riverside Drive overpass above the Ventura (134) Freeway; (2) near the electric generating station at the river's curve; or (3) at the mouth of Verdugo Wash.

The workshop will be held at the Pacific Community Center Gymnasium at 501 S. Pacific Avenue in Glendale starting at 6:30 p.m.
