General Mills Announces Voluntary Recall Of 4 Flavors Of Nature Valley Bars

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — General Mills has announced the voluntary recall of four flavors of Nature Valley bars.

The recall was being issued as part of an ongoing recall of sunflower kernel products by SunOpta, Inc. over concerns of the potential presence of listeria.

The company said there have been no direct consumer reports of confirmed illnesses related to the supplier issue.

The recall affects four flavors of Nature Valley Protein Chewy Bars and Nature Valley Simple Nut Bars.
