Gay Porn Star Convicted Of Extorting, Blackmailing Wealthy Businessman

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A gay porn actor has been convicted of blackmailing a wealthy California man out of $500,000 by threatening to reveal details of his personal life online.

City News Service says Teofil Brank was convicted Thursday of extortion and other federal charges in Los Angeles.

Prosecutors said Brank, who uses the stage name Jarec Wentworth, forced telecom executive Donald Burns to turn over the money and title to an expensive car. Authorities say Brank threatened to expose the executive's paid sexual trysts on social media.
