Garden Grove Burglars Get Away With California Lottery Tickets

GARDEN GROVE (CBSLA.com) — An "unknown amount" of California Lottery tickets were stolen early Tuesday morning in a break-in at a Garden Grove market.

A burglary alarm alerted officers to the break-in at A1 Market, 11512 Magnolia St., at 1:58 a.m., Garden Grove police Sgt. Jon Wainwright said.

When officers arrived at the market, they discovered the ceiling of the market had been heavily damaged, but the exterior doors and windows were all secured, Wainwright said.

Wainwright said an Anaheim police helicopter discovered two holes on the roof of the business, along with a rope found hanging from the rooftop. No suspects were found inside, however.
