FlyAway Shuttle Begins Service From Hollywood To LAX

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — The Fly Away bus, offering service to LAX, will began operations Wednesday in Hollywood.

The low-cost bus service will run every hour starting at 5:15 a.m. through 10:15 p.m. from the corner of Argyle Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard, near the Red Line station.

The service costs $8 for adults, with children 5 and under riding for free.

Airport officials estimate that more than 100,000 people will ride the shuttle in its first year of operation.

FlyAway is also offered at five other locations in the city, including Union Station, Santa Monica, Van Nuys, Westwood and the Metro station at Expo/La Brea.
