Float Builders Busy Preparing For Rose Parade

IRWINDALE (CBSLA.com) — Artists and volunteers were busy on Sunday preparing their floats for the New Year's Day Rose Parade.

Rose Parade floats often take months to create. But float builders kick into high gear in the week preceding the parade as their creations, which started as small models, take shape as towering works of art.

The 127th Rose Parade will take place as always on New Year's Day in downtown Pasadena.
