Flash flood warning issued for Huntington Beach, Westminster

Orange County streets flooded as latest storm passes through Southern California

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for Huntington Beach, Westminster, Midway City and the surrounding area as the latest storm passes through Southern California. 

The advisory will last until midnight. 

NWS said most flood deaths occur in vehicles and advised residents to avoid flooded roadways. 

Video from the Citizen App appeared to show a flooded street in Westminster. 

The NWS advised drivers to "turn around, don't drown" in flooded streets.  Citizen

Firefighters helped an elderly woman after heavy rain caused issues in Huntington Beach.
