Flames Rip Through Big 5 Store In Torrance

TORRANCE (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters were battling a massive fire at a sporting goods store in the South Bay.
The fire at a Big 5 store in the 18300 block of Hawthorne Boulevard in Torrance erupted Thursday evening.
Footage from the scene showed part of the building already starting to collapse.
The massive flames were forcing firefighters to keep their distance.
A portion of Hawthorne Boulevard and Ashley Avenue have been shut down. For traffic updates, listen to KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO.
