First Bluetooth-Enabled Pregnancy Test Hits Store Shelves Nationwide

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The first-ever pregnancy test capable of syncing to its user's smartphone is now available, its maker says.

In order to use the device, users must download the app, which according to First Response, tells the individual how much time they have remaining for the result with a 3-minute timer counting down.

The app will then offer wait time support, giving users the option of being entertained, educated, or calmed.

When ready, the result will be displayed in the app and will allow the user to input data in order to calculate a due date.

The app also offers other information like suggested next steps.
