Reche Fire: 437-acre brushfire burns one home
Riverside County Fire Department units continue battling a roughly 437-acre wildfire burning in the area of Reche Canyon Road near Moreno Valley in Riverside County.
As of Monday morning, firefighters reported the Reche Fire was 85-percent contained.
The Reche Fire broke out around 1 p.m. Friday. Firefighters tweeted that there were flashy fuels burning. Multiple ground resources and air resources were responding to put out the flames.
Firefighters had issued evacuation orders for residents living south of Reche Canyon Road, west of Locust/Trust, North of Alta Vista, and east of Reche Vista Drive/Perris Blvd, all of which have been downgraded to warnings since.
An additional evacuation warning remains in place north of Ironwood, east of Perris Blvd., south of Alta Vista, and west of Moreno Beach.
The sheriff's department said any resident displaced can go to Valley View High School.
California Highway Patrol officers were conducting traffic control in
the area due to the large amount of public safety equipment.

Crews closed several roads on Saturday as they continued to battle the blaze. Impacted roads included:
- south of Reche Vista and Hancock,
- north of Reche Vista and Ritchy Canyon.
KCAL crews caught video of a ranch property burning during the fire.
Around 4:54 p.m., firefighters reported that the fire had grown from 340 acres to 385 acres.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. There are no reports of injuries.
