Firefighters Remove 2 Vehicles Jammed Into West Hollywood Parking Garage Stairwell
WEST HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Two vehicles were trapped Tuesday night after getting jammed into a West Hollywood parking garage stairwell.
The accident took place around 11 p.m. Thursday on La Cienega at Santa Monica Boulevard.
According to reports, a couple in an SUV lost control of the vehicle on the top level of the parking structure, struck a parked Uber driver causing both vehicles to end up in the stairwell.
"Once it hit me, like five seconds later, I took off my seatbelt and jumped out," Uber driver Jensen Martinez said. "I'm just happy to be alive and no major injuries happened."
It took firefighters several hours to remove the vehicles.
No injuries were reported.
No arrests were made.
