SOUTH PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters put out a blaze early Sunday tearing through a house in South Pasadena.

Crews were called at 3:56 a.m. to find a one-story home at 812 Kendall Avenue engulfed in flames, Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott said.

Scott said 44 L.A. city firefighters were dispatched to the scene to help Pasadena's fire department.

It took nearly an hour to knock down the blaze.

No injuries were reported.
