Sand, Sandbags Available To Residents At Several Locations

(CBSLA.com) — Amid continuing showers, authorities are giving away sand and sandbags.

LOS ANGELES

The materials will be available to residents at Los Angeles Fire Department stations. For a list of locations, click here.

RIALTO

In Rialto, residents can pick-up sand and sandbags at three locations provided they bring their own shovels. The locations include: 246 S. Willow Avenue, Public Works Facility; 1550 N. Ayala Avenue, Fire Station 3; and 3288 N. Alder, Fire Station 4.

BURBANK

Residents in Burbank will be given as many as 25 sandbags but can request more if deemed appropriate and must provide proof of business or residency in Burbank. Pick-up will be coordinated at the Public Works Field Services Yard at 124 South Lake St. Mon. - Fri., 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
