Firefighters extricate driver following single-car crash in Riverside County

Firefighters extricated one person from a car following a single-car crash in Aguanga on Sunday morning.

They were sent to Highway 79 near Sage Road at around 10:20 a.m. after learning of the crash, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

Upon arrival, they found the car with major damage.

They extricated one person from inside within 10 minutes. They were airlifted to a nearby hospital with moderate injuries, firefighters said.

It's unclear what caused the crash.
