Firefighters Knock Down Flames At Craftsman-Style Homes In Koreatown Area

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A fire destroyed two homes Friday in the Koreatown area, but no one was hurt.

Nearly 100 firefighters sent to the 100 block of South Ardmore Avenue late this morning extinguished the flames in less than an hour, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

The cause of the blazer was under investigation. Authorities were looking into an unconfirmed report that an explosion was heard at the fire
scene.
