Firefighters Knock Down Blaze At Building In Monterey Hills

MONTEREY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters Wednesday knocked down a blaze inside a one-story metal commercial building in Monterey Hills.

The fire was reported at 10:33 a.m. at the building at 1513 Mirasol St., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Crews from the Vernon Fire Department as well as the Los Angeles County Fire Department were called in to assist.

The fire was knocked down by nearly 75 firefighters at 11:40 a.m.

Damages estimates were unclear, but it was determined the company manufactures and distributes personal hygiene products.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire was being investigated by the LAFD Arson Section.
