Fire Erupts In Cabinet, Furniture Manufacturing Business In East LA

EAST LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters extinguished a commercial fire Wednesday that erupted in a building in East Los Angeles.

Shortly before 6 a.m., crews were sent to East Cesar Chavez Avenue at North Hazard Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Upon their arrival, firefighters located heavy fire and smoke showing from inside the building.

No injuries were reported.

Firefighters said the business manufactures cabinets and furniture.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
