Fire Rages Through Warehouse In Rancho Dominguez

RANCHO DOMINGUEZ (CBSLA.com) — A second-alarm fire destroyed a warehouse in Rancho Dominguez Monday night.

Flames broke out at 2082 E. Gladwick St. shortly after 9 p.m. Firefighters knocked down the fire about an hour and a half later.

The department sent 75 to 100 firefighters to battle the fire, with some remaining at the scene until Tuesday morning "to do mop-up and stay on fire watch," said Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Kyle Sanford.

Several vehicles inside the warehouse were also charred. It's not clear what started the fire. No one was hurt.
