Teen's Body Discovered After Fire At Anaheim Apartment Complex

ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say the body of a teenager was found following a raging predawn fire at a two-story apartment complex in Anaheim.

Firefighters were dispatched to the 2100 block of East Westport Drive early Saturday morning about 4:25 a.m.

According to Anaheim police Lt. Bob Dunn, the deceased man was found in a unit on the second floor.

He was identified by the Orange County Coroner's office as Justin Jewell, 17, of Anaheim.

The lieutenant said it took firefighters about 40 minutes to knock down the blaze, which displaced residents.
