Fire Knocked Down At UCLA School Of Dentistry In Westwood

WESTWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters Tuesday knocked down flames at the UCLA School of Dentistry.

The fire was reported at 1:31 a.m. in Building 48A at 714 Tiverton Avenue, according to Los Angeles Fire Department.

Smoke and flames were seen spewing  out from the third floor of the seven-story building.

More than 100 firefighters managed to contain the fire to one classroom and an office space, the LAFD said.

It took about 42 minutes to knock it down.

No injuries were reported.

The cause was under investigation.
