Fire Erupts At Sushi Restaurant In Lake Forest Strip Mall

LAKE FOREST (CBSLA.com) — A fire broke out Friday in a strip mall restaurant in Lake Forest, authorities said.

The two-alarm fire started around 7:35 a.m. near Jeronimo Road and Los Alisos Boulevard, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.

The firefighting effort was continuing about an hour afterward, Larry Kurtz of the Orange County Fire Authority said.

A nearby preschool was evacuated, officials said.

Two firefighters were treated for minor injuries and taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution, according to Kurtz.
