Fire Erupts In Downtown LA Building Being Demolished, Worker Rescued

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — One person was rescued Tuesday from a major emergency fire that broke out at a cold storage facility in downtown Los Angeles that is being demolished.
The fire at the two-story building at 1581 E. Industrial St. was declared out in a little over an hour after more than 100 firefighters were deployed.
A demolition worker was briefly trapped by the fire, but as able to get out of the building, according to Los Angeles Fire spokesman Brian Humphrey said. No injuries have been reported.
