Fire Destroys Designer Goods At Beverly Hills Prada Store

BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Some designer duds were destroyed by fire Thursday at the Beverly Hills Prada store.

The fire reported shortly after 8 a.m. on the store's second floor on the 300 block of N. Rodeo Drive, the Beverly Hills Fire Department said.

Investigators said a few cardboard boxes located near some extension cords caught on fire.

The store sprinkler systems put out the fire.

No injuries were reported, but there was a lot of water damage to the store.

Damage estimates to merchandise were not available.
