Fire At Oxnard Strip Mall Reaches 3 Alarms

OXNARD (CBSLA.com)  —  A stubborn and smoky fire was reported at an Oxnard strip mall Sunday evening.

Desmond Shaw in Sky9 said it appears the fire started in an electronics store at 9th and A Street.

"That store is going to be a total loss," he reported.

At one point, flames could be seen coming through the roof of the building.

Even after the flames died down, smoke was visible.

"They're going to have their hands full with this fire," Shaw reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
