FULLERTON (CBSLA.com) — A fire inside a Fullerton tuxedo store reached two alarms Wednesday evening and gutted the property.

The blaze was reported just before 7 p.m., authorities said.

The store, Allen's Tuxedos, is in the 700 block of West Commonwealth Avenue.

The fire collapsed the roof of the structure, authorities said.

The blaze was knocked down in about an hour. More than 50 firefighters battled the blaze.

The cause of the fire is being investigated. HazMat crews remained on scene after the fire was out to check for possible fumes given off by burned toxic cleaning solvents.
