'Finding Dory' Soars For $41.9 Million At Weekend Box Office
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — "Finding Dory" was alone at the top of the box office this weekend across North America.
The Pixar film earned $41.9 million at the box office this weekend, crushing all it's competitors.
"Finding Dory" has now amassed $372 million in just three weeks.
"The Legend of Tarzan" was on pace to earn $38.1 million, while "Purge: Election Year" took third place, bringing in $30.9 million in opening day receipts.
"The BFG" opened in fourth place, with a $19.6 million gross.
