Female Marine Hospitalized After Being Stabbed Multiple Times At Camp Pendleton

CAMP PENDLETON (AP) — A stabbing at Camp Pendleton has left a female Marine lance corporal hospitalized with several stab wounds.

A Marine Corps spokeswoman, Lt. Savannah Moyer, told a local TV station the victim was flown to a San Diego-area hospital after Saturday's attack.

The Los Angeles Times reports the woman was treated for moderate injuries, and that the suspect may be a corporal who, like the victim, belonged to the 1st Marine Logistics Group.

The attack was under investigation.

No other information was released.
