FedEx Truck Crash Prompts Closure Of 60 Freeway In Pomona

POMONA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities issued a SigAlert on Monday after a big rig truck crashed on the 60 Freeway in Pomona.

According to California Highway Patrol officers, the driver of a FedEx truck lost control of the vehicle and rammed into the center divider near Reservoir Street.

Authorities subsequently closed all westbound lanes and the eastbound carpool lane of the freeway.

CBS2's Stephanie Simmons advised taking the 10 Freeway as an alternate route, and to leave about a half hour early.

Officers added it was heavily raining at the time of the crash.

No injuries were reported.

Around 6:30 a.m., authorities reopened all lanes of the freeway.
