FBI Hunts Suspect Who Hit 4 Buena Park Banks On Same Day

BUENA PARK (CBSLA.com) — The FBI is looking for a suspect who hit four banks in Buena Park Saturday.

The suspect was able to rob at least one bank successfully, authorities said. It was not specified how much the suspect got away with.

The man was described as white, wearing a white crew neck shirt, jeans, sunglasses and a tan L.A. Dodgers baseball cap.

The suspect, who used a note demanding cash, robbed one of the banks around 11 a.m. He attempted to rob the other banks just after noon, said the FBI.

If anyone recognizes the suspect, they are asked to call local law enforcement.

The FBI, Orange County Sheriff's Department and the Buena Park Police Department are conducting the joint investigation.

Officials listed the four bank branches hit Saturday -- Wells Fargo (6090 Ball Rd.) Bank Of America (6210 Beach Blvd.) Chase (7964 Beach Blvd.) and  Chase (8901 Valley View Street).
