Fatal Accident On 5 Freeway On-Ramp In Valencia May Have Been Suicide

VALENCIA (CBSLA.com) — The death of a man who was fatally struck by a vehicle on a Golden State (5) Freeway on-ramp in Valencia is being investigated as a possible suicide, authorities said Wednesday.

The man whose body was found on the Valencia Boulevard on-ramp to the southbound Golden State Freeway about 8:20 p.m. was identified as Michael Henry Cisneros, 22, of Stevenson Ranch, Los Angeles County Coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter said.

The case was initially reported as  a possible suicide, Winter said.

The accident prompted the closure of the on ramp and a SigAlert was declared, California Highway Patrol Officer Francisco Villalobos said. The ramp was reopened to traffic at 12:42 a.m.
