Fans Warned Of Scammers Peddling Bogus Tickets To Kobe's Final Game

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles Lakers on Monday warned fans to beware of scammers peddling bogus tickets two days ahead of Kobe Bryant's final game.

The team urged fans to be wary of buying tickets from third-party sources, and instead, buy them directly from the team or through the Lakers Ticket Exchange at Lakers.com.

"We want to make sure buyers are knowledgeable about purchasing tickets from the secondary market," said Tim Harris, the team's senior vice president of business operations. "Lakers Ticket Exchange at Lakers.com is the only secondary site where purchases are authenticated and verified by Ticketmaster, and fans will be assured of entrance into Staples Center on game nights."
