LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Fans are forced to face reality after seeing "Beverly Hills, 90210" star Luke Perry on the cover of AARP's magazine.

The former heartthrob turned 50 on October 11, and the AARP is helping him celebrate by putting his face on the cover of its magazine. The bottom of the cover says: "Welcome to the 902-5-OH."

Perry was 24 years old when he starred on "Beverly Hills, 90210" from 1990 to 1995.

The actor has appeared in dozens of other TV shows and movies. But he is most well-known for playing Dylan McKay on the hit series that ran 10 seasons during the 90's.
