Fan Ejected After Trying To Pry Foul Ball Away From Dodgers 1st Baseman

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A fan at Dodger Stadium was ejected on Monday night after attempting to pry a ball out of Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez' glove.

The fan got up from his seat and went all the way to the railing where Gonzalez was able to make the catch in foul territory.

Once Gonzalez had already made the catch, the aggressive fan grabbed his glove and actually tried to pry the ball away from the Dodgers slugger.

The fan, wearing a Boston Red Sox hat, was promptly escorted out of the stadium by security.

Gonzalez was traded from the Red Sox to the Dodgers in 2012.

This incident comes on the same day that Adrian Gonzalez was named as a nominee for the 2015 Roberto Clemente Award.
