Family Hopes Public Can Help Them Track Down Missing Long Beach Teen With Special Needs

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) —  The family of a Long Beach teen with special needs is hoping the public can help bring him home.

Police in Long Beach Saturday joined in the search for missing David Lopez.

Authorities said Lopez was last seen about 12:45 p.m. Friday in the 1300 block of Gladys Avenue. He was seen walking towards a restaurant to buy lunch but never returned home, Long Beach Police Department Sgt. Bradley Johnson said.

The missing teen is Latino, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 140 pounds with a shaved head.

When Lopez was last seen he was wearing a blue Millikan High School sweat shirt and tan pants.
