Exclusive Video From CBSLA Captures Little Pony As It Led Police On Foot Pursuit

NORTHRIDGE (CBSLA.com) — A pony on the loose was captured in the Northridge area, but not before leading police on a short pursuit!

The pony was corralled by Los Angeles police on Napa Street just before 10 p.m. Tuesday after officers received reports of a pony on the loose.

Officers initially were tracking the pony via helicopter, but one LAPD officer decided to take matters into his own hands.

Footage captured that officer as he exited his patrol car and chased after the little pony on foot as it ran up and down the street.

It remains unclear who owns the pony, which was taken into custody without incident.

No injuries were sustained to the pony nor officers.

Animal control officers have been called to the scene.
