Ex-Wrestling Coach Pleads Not Guilty To Molesting Athletes

TORRANCE (AP) — A former Torrance High School wrestling coach has pleaded not guilty to molesting 25 student athletes.

Los Angeles County prosecutors say Thomas Joseph Snider entered pleas on Thursday to 41 felony and misdemeanor charges of child molesting and committing lewd acts on children.

Snider was head wrestling coach at the school south of Los Angeles but he's on unpaid leave.

Prosecutors allege that from 2013 through February, Snider molested members of his team ranging from 13 to 16 years old, with most acts occurring at the school.

If he's convicted, Snider could face more than 37 years in state prison.
