Ex-Reporter Accused Of Attacking Brad Pitt Faces 4 Misdemeanor Charges

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Four misdemeanor charges are expected to be filed Friday against a former Ukrainian TV reporter accused of assaulting Brad Pitt, according to the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office.

Vitalii Sediuk, 25, was arrested after he allegedly charged at Pitt during Wednesday's premiere of "Maleficent" at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.

Sediuk will be charged with one count each of assault, battery, unlawful activity at a sporting or theatrical event or exhibition and unlawful delay or interference of a sporting or theatrical event or exhibition.

Sediuk is known for causing disruptions at red carpet events.

Earlier this month, Sediuk stuck his head under actress America Ferrera's gown at the Cannes Film Festival.

When he tried to kiss Will Smith at the "Men in Black 3" premiere in Moscow, Smith slapped him.

No other details were immediately available.
