ET: Man Released After Being Detained Outside Home Of Taylor Swift

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a man was released after being detained outside of the home of Taylor Swift Wednesday.

The celebrity website, Entertainment Tonight, reports that police were called to Swift's Bel Air home after neighbors spotted a man standing outside.

Citing an eyewitness, the website reports that the man was allegedly yelling for the mega-star to come outside. It's not known if she was home at the time.

When police arrived, they reportedly detained the man and investigated.

He was eventually released.

According to ET, Swift's representative released the following statement:

"This is why it's irresponsible for the media to publish the addresses or recent real estate transactions of celebrities."
