Equipment, Tools Stolen From Trucks In Long Beach To Be Put On Display
LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Dozens of stolen gardening equipment, construction tools, and plumbing equipment will be put on display in an effort to return the items to their rightful owners, Long Beach police officials said.
Long Beach police's burglary detail is inviting the public to view the stolen tools and equipment Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 600 W. 15th Street in Long Beach.
Members of the public will get a chance to view gardening and plumbing equipment, construction tools and high-end bicycles stolen from work trucks during a rash of thefts over the past year.
Agustin Garfias Jr., 19, of Long Beach, was arrested in connection with the thefts.
Anyone hoping to claim an item can provide police reports or other identifying documentation, such as serial numbers, personal identifiers on the items, photos of equipment and purchase receipts.
