Traffic School Instructor Arrested On Suspicion Of Sexual Battery

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a 70-year-old traffic school instructor accused of sexually battering his students has been arrested on a misdemeanor criminal charge.

Jorge Ernesto Ubillus was arrested Monday, the Los Angeles Police Department said in a written statement.

According to police, incidents occurred this year during driving sessions or at his office on Santa Monica Boulevard from July to Aug. 13.

Ubillus was released from custody on $30,000 bail.

Police believe there may be other victims.
