Eagles Of Death Metal Join U2 Onstage During Band's Emotional Return To Paris

PARIS (CBSLA.com) — Eagles of Death Metal Monday evening joined U2 onstage during the Irish rocker's emotional return to Paris since the terror attacks.

The concert marked U2's first performance since the Nov. 13 terror attacks that left at least 129 people dead and 353 others injured.

Following the attacks, the band had postponed two concerts.

Eagles of Death Metal, a Palm Desert band, was performing onstage when the terror suspects stormed the Batacan concert hall, killing 89 people, including Nick Alexander, the band's merchandise manager.

After the show, the Eagles of Death Metal thanked U2 and those worldwide who continue to prove love, joy, and music will always overcome terror and evil.

They plan to be the first band to perform at the Bataclan concert hall when it reopens.
