Dunkin' Donuts To Open In Santa Clarita

SANTA CLARITA (CBSLA.com) — Doughnut lovers rejoice – A Dunkin' Donuts is set to open Wednesday morning in Santa Clarita.

The first person in both the walk-in and drive-thru lines will receive free coffee for a year when Dunkin' Donuts opens at 27125 Sierra Highway at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The Santa Clarita restaurant will be the first of 14 to be opened in Glendale, Burbank and Santa Clarita Valley by Good Treats LLC, a new franchise group headed by Bjorn Bayley and Johnny Andersen.

Dunkin' Donuts, an East Coast favorite, has been moving steadily into California this year. The chain has opened restaurants in Santa Monica, Downey, Laguna Hills and Encino over the past year.
