Driver Who Crashed Into Rosemead Cars Believed To Be Racing

ROSEMEAD (CBSLA.com) — Four parked cars were damaged Friday by a car whose driver was believed to be racing and fled the scene after the crash, authorities said.

The accident happened in the 9700 block of Valley Boulevard at about 1:55 a.m., Los Angeles County sheriff's Sgt. Oscar Lopez said.

The suspect's vehicle, a 1995 Acura Legend, was left at the scene, sheriff's Lt. Tom McNeal said.

Deputies went to the scene on an unconfirmed report of a crash that may have involved street racing, McNeal said. No injuries were reported.

Anyone with more information about the case can call the sheriff's Temple Station at (626) 285-7171.
