Teenager Involved In Fatal North Hills Head-On Collision Arrested On Suspicion Of DUI

NORTH HILLS (CBSLA.com) — The 19-year-old driver of a Jeep who police believe was involved in an overnight crash that left three people dead in North Hills was arrested Sunday on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.

Around 3 a.m. Sunday, medics arrived at the scene of a head-on collision at 8300 N. Haskell Avenue involving a Jeep Liberty and a 1993 Toyota Corolla carrying four men.

Two victims from the Corolla were declared dead at the scene and two were transported to a hospital where one later died.

The driver of the Jeep, identified as Riley John Holman of Mission Hills, suffered minor injuries, the LAPD said.

The men in the Corolla were all in their 20's, the LAPD said. Their names have not been released.
