Driver Arrested In High-Speed Pursuit With Baby On Board

LANCASTER (CBSLA.com) —  Sheriff's deputies chased a driver they say was wanted in a robbery Tuesday while a baby was in the car.

The chase started in Palmdale around 6:15 p.m. and ended around 6:45 p.m. in Lancaster near Cemetery Road when the driver attempted to crash through a gate. Deputies arrested two males and female and then took the toddler into protective custody.

"Holding a baby, a female holding a baby. I wasn't expecting that," Stu Mundel said from above in Sky9.
