Driver Arrested For DUI In Westminster Rollover Crash That Critically Injured 4

WESTMINSTER (CBSLA.com) — A woman was arrested on DUI charges Thursday following a rollover crash where four people riding in the back of her truck were ejected.

The crash happened at 3:30 a.m. at Hoover Street and Benton Avenue, the Westminster Police Department said.

The 19-year-old driver from Garden Grove lost control of a Toyota Tacoma before it rolled.

"We think she may have hit a parked car," Cprl. Vandwoodson said. "There were four male adults riding in the bed of the pickup truck at the time of the collision. They were all ejected."

The victims all suffered critical injuries and were taken to a local hospital.

"It is against the law to ride in the back of a pickup truck. It's a pretty reckless act," he said.

The driver was not injured.
